Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR):NOx reacts with ammonia over catalyst to form N2 and H2O in the SCR reactor at proper Temperature (300~420 Deg. C), De-NOx efficiency up to 85%+.
Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR):NOx reacts with reagents to form N2 and H2O in furnace at reaction temperature window from 840 to 1150℃. De-NOx efficiency from 25% up to 50%+.
Urea Pyrolyzation
Traditionally, SCR system uses anhydrous ammonia or aqueous ammonia as reagent, but they are hazardous chemicals, for safety concerns, more and more power plants choose urea for on-site ammonia generation.
Urea pyrolyzation is a safe and cost effective process which uses heat to decompose urea into ammonia. The system includes urea solution making unit, urea solution flow metering and distribution unit, thermal decomposition chamber, electrical heater etc.
